Collaborations

I absolutely love ensemble playing and collaborating with other artists. Finding a true musical connection is so energizing and rewarding.

Whilst I’ve currently spent time in recent collaboration with Stuart Ansell, there are many highlights to the concerts, workshops and courses I’ve presented in previous years.

Stuart Ansell

Initially picking up the guitar aged 8 and spending his formative years bouncing around his bedroom pretending to be Pete Townshend, Stuart began performing live at the age of 14.

He has toured the world with such luminaries as Rose Royce, Shalamar, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Odyssey, Boney M, The Drifters and many others.

He has been the guitarist for 70’s hit recording artists “The Real Thing” for 24 years, which Stuart adds, “says something about both the longevity of the band and his propensity for not getting fired.” He can be heard with them on both CD and DVD “Live at the Liverpool Philharmonic 2013”.
